Since I was a teenager, I’ve had extremely damaged hair from constant colour treatments and heat styling. There have been very little products I’ve tried thus far that have helped my hair. Salon-quality hair at home? I’ve seen many hair products with this claim, but none that actually lived up to it. Now I truly know what that means ever since I started using these two eSalon hair treatments.
Weekly Retreat (CAD 22)
The Weekly Retreat is a moisturizing mask infused with avocado, argan, and jojoba oil to deeply moisturize, protect, soften, and add shine to the hair.
I’m going to be very honest, this hair mask didn’t do much for my hair after my first use. My hair was still tangled, rough, and dull. However, after using this mask for two weeks, my hair’s texture has improved significantly. It’s now soft and smooth to the touch, and my hair has never looked as healthy as it does right now.
Universal Leave-In (CAD 22)
While my hair is still slightly damp, I apply a coin-sized amount of the Universal Leave-In to the ends of my hair to hydrate, fight off frizz, and prevent colour fading. With the use of this leave-in, I noticed an immediate difference to the texture of my hair. My hair’s been so easy to brush through, even on second day, which is a miracle since the ends of my hair have always been severely tangled since I was a teenager. Passing a brush through my hair (especially on second day hair) was virtually impossible, until now.
Thanks to eSalon, my hair looks fresh out of the salon every time I finish washing it. After 24 years of wishing for long and beautiful princess hair, I’m finally working my way to achieving my wish!
