I’ve been a long-time subscriber of Boxycharm, and there are many reasons why I love this subscription service. With the base subscription priced at $25 per month, you get five full-size products with a minimum total value of $125. Today, I’ll be chatting about my first impressions with my January 2020 Boxycharm!

This month’s box contains four full-size and one travel-size products. I must say, this month’s box left me feeling underwhelmed, mainly because of the travel-size sleep mask as well as the concealer, which is a little too dark and cool-tone for me. Despite feeling a little disappointed about this month’s box, there are still some great qualities with the products I received!

Pretty Vulgar Under Cover Concealer (MSRP $25)
I’m all about trying new concealers, which is why I love when Boxycharm includes them in their box. However, the shade sent to me is a tad bit too dark and cool-tone for my skin tone. This definitely upset me since I had completed their elaborate complexion quiz prior to receiving this. I’m hoping this concealer will be a better match for me in the summer when I’m more tanned, but until then, this will be sitting idly in my drawers.
Ace Beaute Scarlet Dusk Palette (MSRP $34.99)
This eyeshadow palette is the definition of fire! The beautiful orange and purple shades remind me of a sunset. I’ve tried Ace Beaute shadows before, and the formula is really good, so I cannot wait to try this palette.
Skin&Co Truffle Therapy Face Gommage (MSRP $28)
Another item I’m excited to try from this month’s box is this face scrub. I received another Skin&Co Truffle Therapy product from Boxycharm a couple months back, and I love the results I saw after using it.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask (MSRP $22)
I own the full-size of this sleep mask, and it’s my skincare obsession! It makes my skin so smooth and plump, and it smells just like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. I am slightly disappointed that a full-size of this wasn’t included since one of Boxycharm’s advertising points is that each month’s box includes 5 full-size products. However, the travel-size will come in handy for me since I love taking this mask with me when I travel.
Qveen Studio Matte Liquid Lip Satin (MSRP $17)
I love trying new lip products, especially liquid lips, so I’m really excited to try this product. I received the shade Thick Skin, which is a beautiful neutral and definitely my kind of shade. I’m so curious about this formula since the name states that it’s matte, yet satin at the same time.
That’s a wrap for my January 2020 Boxycharm. The total value of this box is $126.99. Like I said, I’m not totally in love with this month’s box, but I’ve been more disappointed by other boxes before. I am, however, very excited to see what’s in February’s box, so fingers crossed it’ll be a better one!

Sound like interesting products for women!
It’s an amazing subscription service for beauty lovers and would make a great gift for them as well!
I am such a sucker for things like this. Who doesn’t love receiving new products in the mail.
I love the element of surprise, but I also really enjoy getting to choose one product in each month’s box! 🙌
This is such a great idea for my daughter – she’s almost 13 and always experimenting with make up and face masks. Will definitely keep in mind, she’d love it!
It’s the best beauty subscription I’ve tried so far, especially if you’re wanting to try new beauty products! You can sign up here: https://bit.ly/3azBQ94 💕
