I’ve been a fan of Caudalie’s Vinoperfect line ever since I discovered it back in the summer. Back then, the line consisted of the Brightening Essence and the Radiance Serum, which I’ve reviewed here. Now, they’ve added another member to the line: the Brightening Glycolic Overnight Cream (CAD 75). I’ve been testing this cream out for three months now, and it’s safe to say, this one’s a keeper!
Immediate Results
After a couple of minutes of letting my serums sink into the skin, I apply a dime-sized amount of the Caudalie Vinoperfect Night Cream and massage it into the skin with my fingertips. Most night creams I’ve tried are super heavy and greasy on my combo skin, but this one is much more lightweight, which is one of the main reasons why I love it so much.
I was immediately impressed by how well this cream sunk into the skin. My skin felt soft to the touch with zero grease and heaviness. The next morning, I couldn’t believe how smooth and plump my skin felt! My entire complexion looked so healthy, all thanks to two of the main ingredients in the cream: Hyaluronic Acid (hydrates and plumps) and Vegetal Butylene (acts as a humectant).
Long-Term Results
After a month’s use, I began to notice my skin looking brighter and more radiant. Any hyperpigmentation from breakout scars had lightened significantly, and I was using less concealer and cutting down my makeup application time. The brightening effects of this night cream is due to the third main ingredient: Viniferine (lightens dark spots, scars, and hyperpigmentation 62 times more effectively than Vitamin C). Working along with Viniferine to further brighten the skin are papaya extract and glycolic acid. With all these amazing ingredients, this night cream is a superstar at brightening the skin.
