An on-the-go, busy, and stressful life typically comes with dark circles, eye bags, breakouts, and discolouration. That’s why I cannot and will not live without concealer in my makeup routine. With so many concealers on the beauty market, it’s tough to decide which one you should be using. I’ve rounded up my top five high-end and affordable concealers and explain exactly why I love each one so much.

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer (CAD 35)
Available at: Ulta
I love the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer because it’s long-lasting on my combo skin. I use the this to conceal my dark circles, hide redness, and cover up hyperpigmentation. However, I’d stay away from this concealer if you have dry or flaky blemishes as this will emphasize dry patches.
Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer
Available at: Sephora | Ulta | Nordstrom
This concealer is similar to the Shape Tape because of their high coverage formula. The biggest difference between the two is their blendability – this concealer blends into the skin much more easily. I would recommend this concealer to those with drier skin as this formula doesn’t emphasize any flakiness.
Colourpop No Filter Matte Concealer
Available at: Colourpop
Colourpop No Filter Concealer is one of the most affordable and best quality concealers on the beauty market. It’s a medium-full coverage with a natural finish that works great on those pesky eye bags. When I’m running late, I apply a bit of this under my eyes, set it with powder, and I’m looking fresh and awake, ready for the day!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Available at: Sephora | Ulta | Nordstrom
The perfect no-makeup makeup day is when I use the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. It’s extremely blendable and lightweight while still providing superb coverage for the under eyes, redness, and hyperpigmentation. Even with a full layer of this concealer on, I can still achieve that effortless “I’m not wearing any makeup” look that I go for in the early mornings.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Available at: Ulta | Walgreens
The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is another great and affordable concealer. It offers medium coverage with a very pretty natural finish. I recommend setting this with powder if you have combo skin as this tends to slip and slide on my face when left unset. This concealer is a slightly thicker in consistency, so again I personally wouldn’t reach for this if I have texture or dry patches on my skin.
That’s it for my favourite high-end and affordable concealers! If you have a favourite concealer that you think I should try, please let me know down in the comments. I’m ALWAYS looking to try new concealers!
