Another month means another Boxycharm! The February 2020 Boxycharm includes a variety of goodies from skincare to makeup tools. If you missed my first impressions of January’s box, you can find it here. Now, let’s get chatty about this month’s box!
*This box was purchased with my own money, and all opinions are based on my own thoughts and experiences. Affiliate links are used throughout this post.
This month’s box contains four full-size and one travel-size products, just like last month’s. However, my thoughts on this month’s box are way more positive than last month’s. The only issue I have with my is with my choice product, which is the foundation. It’s a bit too dark for my skin tone, even though I researched a ton prior to choosing my shade. Also, my box did arrive a bit later than usual this month, which was a bit strange since they usually arrive at around the same time each month.
A huge plus for this month’s box is that the insert card was emailed to me instead of being printed and included in the box. I love that Boxycharm is being more eco-friendly!

Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation (MSRP $44)
As I mentioned before, this foundation is my choice product for February’s box. Even after thorough research, the shade that’s said to match my skin tone (3W1 Buttercup) is a bit too dark for me. I’ve tried this foundation once, so that I can give you guys a little first impressions.
First off, this foundation is THICK. True to its name, the formula is insanely full coverage, so its thickness and difficulty in application are no surprise to me. To thin it out without losing coverage, I mix in two drops of facial oil for easier application.
Be warned, this foundation does oxidize; within an hour, this did turn darker on me. Therefore, if you’re looking to purchase this foundation, I’d suggest choosing one that’s a shade or two lighter than your skin tone.
Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator (MSRP $26)
This is the product I’m most excited for in this month’s box. I received the shade Gilded Honey, which is the exact one I’ve been wanting to try forever! I’ve heard so many amazing things about this highlighter, and I cannot wait to give this illuminator a try.
Alamar Cosmetics Complexion Brush Trio (MSRP $36)
I’m so excited to receive this brush trio in my box. I’ve gotten Alamar brushes in my Boxycharm before, so I can honestly say that their brushes are of top quality. These face brushes feel so soft on the skin, and I love the gold aesthetics!
Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Powder (MSRP $22)
Another product I’m excited to try is this setting powder. I love testing out new setting powders, and the claims of this one sound amazing. This powder claims to be crease-free, is finely milled, and has a soft focus finish with no flashback. Sounds like the perfect setting powder to me!
Evio Refreshing Cleansing Hemp Wipes (MSRP $10)
This is the travel-size product included in this month’s box. I love carrying these mini packs of cleansing wipes with me when I go out; they always come in handy! These wipes are infused with cannabis sativa seed oil, which is said to have anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, smoothing, and antioxidant properties. I have yet to try any skincare products with cannabis sativa seed oil, so I’m really curious about these wipes.
That’s it for my February 2020 Boxycharm! The total value of this month’s box is $138, which is awesome since each box is only $25. Next month is a Boxyluxe month, so I’m super duper excited to see what goodies will be included in March’s box!
