Sunscreen is essential all year round, but it is especially important in the summer. As a girl with combo-oily skin, I am super picky when it comes to spf: no oily look or feel when applied to the skin, no white cast, must sink into the skin almost immediately… and the list goes on. I recently tried the Kiehl’s Beyond Screen UV Serum SPF 50, so here are my thoughts.

The Kiehl’s Beyond Screen UV Serum SPF 50 is a lightweight sunscreen with a serum-like texture that protects against sun damage and corrects early signs of aging. Advanced UV filters provide the skin with UVA and UVB defense, while the collagen peptides help correct visible signs of UV damage by improving the skin’s tone and texture. Active ingredients: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 7%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 7%.
What I love most about this sunscreen is its serum formula that hydrates, nourishes, and boosts radiance. Its super lightweight consistency makes application a dream. The invisible finish leaves the skin glowing without any oily residue or white cast, making it the perfect spf to wear under makeup. I love the pump packaging for easy and controlled dispensing as well as the glass bottle that’s made with post-consumer recycled material.
I’m a huge fan of Kiehl’s skincare, and this sunscreen did not disappoint! I’d recommend this spf to anyone and everyone, but especially to those with combo-oily skin that worry about clogged pores and texture. This spf is also available in a mini size, perfect for traveling or to throw in your bag.
